Les Lyle Memorial Scholarship
This Scholarship has been established in memory of Les Lyle, who attended Blue
Mountain Community College, obtained a degree in civil engineering from Oregon
State University, and went on to become City Engineer of Eugene, Oregon.
The purpose of the scholarship is to
recognize and financially assist BMCC students who are interested in pursuing a
career in civil engineering or in the field Public Works.

Merle Langley
Memorial Scholarship
This
scholarship has been established in memory of Merle Langley. Merle
Langley was a founding member of
the Oregon Chapter APWA and was instrumental in establishing the scholarship
program we have today. The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize and
financially assist Lane Community College students who are interested in
pursuing a career in civil engineering or in the field of Public Works.
