Tuesday, April 22
Mark Ellsworth is the Regional Coordinator for the Oregon North Coast Regional Solutions Center in the Governor’s office. In this role, he helps coordinate the work of state agencies on projects that improve Oregon’s readiness for community and economic development. He has also worked in the private sector as a commercial banker, a financial analyst, and as a re-engineering consultant to corporations in addressing efficiency and profitability issues. Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and holds an MBA in Corporate Finance.

Darin Weaver has been with ODOT since 1997 and spent his first 14 years with the agency in various maintenance and operational positions for ODOT’s District 1 on the North Coast. In 2011, he and his family relocated to the Salem area where he holds his current position as ODOT’s Incident Management Coordinator. Darin coordinates the activities for the agency’s Incident Response Program and works statewide to promote enhanced inter-agency collaboration, working towards increasingly safe and efficient traffic incident management for Oregon’s roads. Don’t miss his Keynote Address on “Coming Together is Not Enough - Evolution of Traffic Incident Management (TIM) as a Public Safety Discipline”.

The Gearhart Beach Clean-Up;
8:00-10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 22. Chad Sweet, City Administrator of
Gearhart will be your host as you pick up liter while you enjoy a walk
on the beach and the beauty of the Oregon Coast near Gearhart.
Transportation is provided and refreshments will be served.
Tim Behrens comes from an acting family. His dad
was a well-known radio and TV actor, who wrote material for several
comedians, including Tony Randall and Don Knotts. His Mom was a working
actress for 60 years! Her stage name was Amzie Strickland and she
guest-starred on more than 600 TV shows; from I Love Lucy to the And
Griffith Show to ER. Growing up in a household of two actors, Tim
avoided acting like the plague…until some moment of deranged alchemy got
him on stage for the first time at age 32. Then he actually studied
acting and was the assistant and master student of Albert Salmi for two
