Wednesday, April 27

 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

 Cost - $20.00

Are you interested in increasing efficiency, minimizing liabilities, improving compliance in your agency?  EMS is a powerful tool that has helped a growing number of public agencies around the country by providing a flexible and proven framework for setting environmental goals, reducing environmental impacts, and improving operations through the use of best practices, operational controls and measurable plans for achieving goals.  In many instances, local governments experience increased financial savings as a result of EMS implementation.

APWA and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), in cooperation with the Office of Water at US EPA, are leading an effort to help inform and educate public works agencies and local governments about EMS.
