Golf Tournment, Tuesday, March 26, noon to 5 p.m.
Start the APWA 2001 spring conference off right with 18 holes of golf at Skamania, one of the premier courses in the Pacific Northwest. There will be plenty of fun activities on the course, including long-drive and longest-put competitions with cash prizes. The tournament format is a four-person scramble, with a shotgun start promptly at 1 p.m. Check-in and lunch begin at noon. Cost for the tournament is $65 per person, including greens fees, cart fees, and a box lunch. Please note: proper golf course attire is required. Contact Rachel Norstrand, 503-419-2500.
Fun Run
Join us at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and enjoy an informal run or walk to explore the Lodge's surrounding environment. T-shirts are available in a variety of sizes, cost $15 and can be ordered on the registration form.Guest Program
Galleries, gift shop and wine excursion -- Visit several galleries and gift shops in the vicinity and shop at Wind River Cellars, up the White Salmon River, to sample local wines and snacks. End with one of the Gorge's best-kept secrets, Old World Loafers in Bingen, Washington, serving great coffee treats and homemade breads. Reservations are limited to 20 people, so register early.
