We invite you to join the delegates on a bus tour of the Columbia Scenic Highway. The Scenic Area Coordinator with ODOT will narrate the history of the highway and its reconstruction. | 8:30 am - 4:00 pm | A tour bus will pick you up at the hotel, and start you off at the Portland Art Museum where you will view the Stroganoff Collection. This exhibition, which is making its world premiere in Portland, is an international cultural exchange in cooperation with the Stroganoff Foundation, the State Hermitage, and the State Russian Museums. The exhibition will include icons and antiquities, palace furnishings, and paintings of the greatest European masters from Botticelli to Poussin, arrayed as they were in the Stroganoff, one of the grandest 18th century buildings in St Petersburg. You will then take a tour of the Pittock Mansion, a 100-year-old Portland landmark. Finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, assorted mini-Danishes and grapes will be served at the Mansion’s Gatehouse. From there you will spend time relaxing in the breath-taking Japanese Garden. The bus will return you to the hotel by 4:00 pm. | |

A continental breakfast will be available at the hotel. Afterward, the Lloyd Center Shopping Center awaits you just north of the hotel. Recently remodeled, the Center is the largest mall in Oregon, with 5 anchor stores and over 200 specialty shops. | |
