About the Conference

Whether you're just starting your career in public works or are a long-time member of the profession and Oregon APWA, come "ride for the brand" at the 2011 Oregon APWA Fall Conference at Eagle Crest Resort October 18-21, 2011. The conference will provide an engaging keynote speaker, technical sessions with PDHs for professional development and CEUs for wastewater and water continuing education, exhibits of some of the best products in the industry, golf, food, fun and entertainment. Lasso all of that together with the kind of networking you can’t get anywhere else and you will agree – the APWA Fall Conference is a must-attend event!

Joe began as the Singing Cowboy at the Flying M Ranch in Oregon and since then, he and his wife Janet have been on the music and entertainment circuit around the state. They have an original record being produced by Hillside Records in Los Angeles and once you hear their vocals and Joe’s amazing guitar work – you will know why!)

Technical Sessions

As always, the technical sessions are the focus of the conference and there is a terrific lineup to choose from. Informative sessions include pedestrian crossings, flood planning, signing and striping standards, a transportation funding strategies panel and bridge rehabilitation projects. Golf Tournament

Join your friends and associates for a fun round of golf on the beautiful greens of Eagle Crest Golf Resort’s pristine "Resort Course" on Tuesday, October 18. Box lunches will be provided and you can pick yours up at the pro shop anytime between 11:00 and noon, but don’t be late – there is a shotgun start at noon! Your golf package includes your 18 hole green fee, ½ cart, lunch and prizes for $75! Please provide your average 18 hole score and preference on players when you register.
