The Conference begins Wednesday Morning October 7th, 2009, with a technical tour, First Timers and Mentors meeting, and a planned local service project.

Pat CaseyWednesday's Luncheon promises to be one of the best yet, with our keynote speaker, Pat Casey, Head Baseball coach at Oregon State University scheduled to bring his perspective of our conference theme "Revitalizing, Reinvesting, Renewing, Rebuilding" .

Technical sessions will bring field experience to the conference and address numerous topics on today's current issues. Sessions will be presented on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
The always popular Exhibitors Social is scheduled for Wednesday evening, which promises an evening of renewing old acquaintances and making new ones.

Thursday evenings Annual Awards Banquet will provide an opportunity to recognize the work of agencies, companies, and individuals with the various awards including the Project of the Year, Julian Award for Sustainability, and the Bowes Award.

This will just get the evening started. Following the awards, the Conroy-Debrie group will provide some of the best music in the Pacific Northwest. Members have played and opened with such groups as Stephen Stills, Randy Newman, Dave Mason, Al Stewart, Bonnie Raitt, The Ozark Mountain Devils, Hagger Brothers, and Del Reeves to just name a few. They promise to get your feet moving and provide a night of outstanding music that you will not want to miss. More information of the group can be found at: www.debrie.com/debriehome.php.

Friday will see someone received the coveted "Gizmo" in recognition for all that they have been accused of doing for the chapter, and provide members an opportunity to support our scholarship programs while railroading a well deserving member.

The Speakers will be insightful, the food fabulous, and the entertainment one of a kind.

This is the one conference that you really do not want to miss. Look for the registration forms to be in the mail in the next couple of weeks.
